Google LLC is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware.

Project overview

In preparation for Google's 2-in-1 Pixelbook release, Razorfish and Odopod would partner up to create a retail experience that would be displayed at signature stores around the US. An attractor loop would display on the chromebook as a point of entry into full retail UI experience.

My Role

Our team was responsible for concepting and putting together an attractor loop video that would align with the Google brand and features of the new Google Pixelbook. I provided art direction and worked closely with animator throughout the process.

Our goal was to catch the attention of potential customers through a video that would loop on the Pixelbook in a retail setting. Our intention was to create a captivating animation that held true to the Google brand but also showcased the key features of the device.

Leveraging the existing Google color palette and list of features/specs provided by the client we generated concepts that would encompass the device's flashy new features.

As we went through several rounds of static visual boards we would later work closely together on a collaborative effort with animator to make our vision come to life. The challange was to tell a story through animated visuals without a music track. It was our priority to capture every feature while still keeping that energetic and playful theme throughout the video. This was the final rendition of the attractor loop video.
